Prof. Nóirín Hayes is a developmental psychologist and early years specialist. She is a former senior lecturer at the Dublin Institute of Technology and Director of the Centre for Social and Educational Research (CSER). She is the author of Early Childhood, co-author of Engaging Young Children, and has produced a number of reports and articles on practice and policy in early childhood education and care.
