Celesta McCann James PhD was President of the Irish Association of Social Care Educators (IASCE) and is Head of Department of Humanities at the Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown. Áine de Róiste PhD is a senior lecturer in Social Care at Cork Institute of Technology. She is a registered psychologist of the Psychological Society of Ireland and a member of IASCE. John McHugh MA is Co-ordinator of Social Studies at Carlow College (St Patrick’s) where, as Placement Co-ordinator, he compiled the Working Models placement guidelines booklets published by IASCE in 2000 and subsequently.
